2.6.1 will not clone FW800 drive
I have a brand new (June 2009) MBP and have been backing it up with a My Passport drive with FW 800 almost daily for the last month (using SD v2.5). Previously I was backing up a two year old MBP (also Intel) using v2.5 with no problems.
First backup under 2.6.1 with the same drive using Snow Leopard: Tried a full backup (erase and backup) and it stopped about 20% of the way through, telling me the backup failed. Copy speed is about 10% of what it was under Leopard and SD v2.5. Tried reformatting the drive altogether but still had same result. HELP!
