OK to use 'Smart Update' after major OS upgrade?
Hi, I couldn't find this in the FAQ or documentation (kindly point me to it if it does exist there), but is it OK to use the 'Smart Update' feature following a major OS X upgrade, like Lion -> Mountain Lion?
Specifically: <with Lion> use Super Duper 'Smart Update' daily <upgrade to Mountain Lion> <with Mountain Lion> continue with 'Smart Update'? Or, do I need to select one of the other options (e.g. 'erase .. then copy ..')? Perhaps it doesn't matter, but wanted to be sure given the critical nature of backups. Also, just wanted to say thanks for a great application. Purchased several years ago and you guys are always on top of the OS X updates. |
