OS Cacheing and page file?

I've noticed, at least I think its superduper, than when doing a backup, the OS pagefile seems to get rather hard sometimes, is the OS cacheing all the files its processing, causing it to run low on memory, and thus push the page file larger? running on a system with 2gb ram, I'd usually hardly expect to even see the page file used with my other daily activities.

It's never a good idea to second-guess the system's use of the page file... the calls we're using try to make maximum use of whatever memory is there, so you might get occasional paging. Nothing at all to be concerned about.
