Calculating Safety Clone size
Hi
Sorry if this is in the manual or an obvious question, but I just want to be sure. How do I calculate the size to make the safety clone partition with the shared users & appplications setting? Thanks |

We generally suggest 8-12GB. But the easiest way to get the amount is to create a safety clone to a regular backup volume, and see how much space it takes. Add *plenty* of slack (since VM swap files and temporary files go there too), and that's your amount for the partition.

Thanks Dave. I'll give it a go.
