Thunderbolt External Bootable Drive?

Hey Dave...
Having used SuperDuper! for years with great success via both FW400 and FW800 bootable external cloned drives, I'm curious whether you can report any experience with cloning to an external Thunderbolt drive (needs to be bootable); and if yes, what about doing this in a daisy chain mode where an Apple display also uses Thunderbolt? This would be for Mountain Lion, btw.
