backup plugin storage device?

Hi Dave
Can SD backups plug and play storage device such as USB key, USB external hard drive or FW hard drive?

I'm not sure I understand the question. We're happy to back up any directly connected device that's formatted for the Mac ("Mac OS Extended" and its variants)...

Hi Dave.
I just plugged in one of the USB key to the mac, and I can see the USB key is mounted from finder. Then, I tried to backup the USB key using superduper, but I just did not see the USB key name shown up in the source drop down box. And this is why I asked this questions.

Right, so it's probably not formatted as HFS+.

I C, it was formatted in FAT32.
So SD can only backup HFS+ ?
