Quick simple question...

After performing a SD backup, and then going into "utilities" and performing a "repair disk" routine on the backup drive, will the result be indicative of my hard drive?

By "indicative" I meant if I run Disk repair from Utilities on my external hard drive that I performed the SD backup on, and it finds no problem with the SD backup, does that mean there is no problem with the Mac HD either since the SD backup is a mirror image of the Mac HD.

Definitely not: we copy all the files from the drive, but we're not copying the directory structure -- that's recreated.
