Mixing bootable OS Extended with FAT?
My father purchased a 320GB drive from OWC (very cool drive by the way). He wants to create three partitions: 2 60GB OS Extended partitions and one Dos partition with the rest of the drives space. He wants to Create two separate bootable backups, one for him and one for Mom, Those will obviously be the OS Ext Journ. The DOS partition is so he can move data from his windows desktop to the laptop on occasion so it will need to be a DOS partition. The problem is you cannot (or I don't see how) create partitions using "Apple Partition Map" and still create a DOS partition on that drive, and if you change it to "Master Boot Record" then the OS Extended will not be bootable. Does any one have any suggestions? Or even know what the heck I am talking about, Ramble...Ramble... Ramble...
