How much control does netTunes give me?

Can I delete songs, modify tags, change preferences, and create play lists?

Faisal -- welcome to the forums!

Yes, you can do all those things. The only trick is that you don't have access to iTunes actual menu bar. Because of this, you have to use keyboard shortcuts to get at things you can't get through the main UI or inspector menu.

Since both iTunes and netTunes use Cmd-, for preferences, you need to use iTunes' alternate keystroke to bring up the panel: Cmd-y.

Remember, you can evaluate netTunes' full functionality for 30 minutes at a time. After 30 minutes are up, you need only restart the server from its preference pane, and you can evaluate for another 30 minutes. So, give it a try!

Hope that helps, and thanks for your interest.
