scheduled sleep interrupting clone

As i understand it, scheduled sleep will halt a clone in progress. If that happens will the cloning continue when the computer is awakened? Is there a risk of file corruption if this happens?

It should, but I would advise against an explicitly scheduled 'forced' sleep.
