Type 8 due to error 1 with full destination
Hi,
A SuperDuper clone of a 1 TB OS X server volume used to work fine. Now it gives the following error: "Error copying /Library/Logs/named.log to /Volumes/Server HD clone/Library/Logs/named.log of type 8 due to error 1" And.... I noticed that the source drive has about 200 GB of free space and the destination drive has only about 17 MB of free space left. (I told the finder to show all folder sizes and they are very similar, at least for visible folders) I presume that I need to erase the destination and try again, but I want to know what I can do to avoid this in the future. |
