I've had difficulties with SD since I upgraded my OS to Snow Leopard, and now it won't back up at all. I deleted the sparse image, and recreated it via SuperDupermwith no problem, so I'm sure the drive is OK, but whenever I try to backup, either via scheduled or on demand, I get "Failed to copy files from [machine drive] to [external drive].
I append the log, and I'd be grateful for some advice - it's fairly hairy running without backup
