It never gave me an option like that in disk utility o.O
The only choices I had were which format (I selected Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as it is supposed to be), and other than that how many partitions and which size, but I only made the one knowing boot camp was supposed to create the new partition.
Was I supposed to run the erase function instead of partitioning? I just did that out of habit from creating external drives with more than one partition, but only created one on this drive.
I wikipedia'd GUID and everything it says mentions Microsoft...I can't even open the bootcamp utility for the first time, if you are thinking I'm farther along than I am.
