Dave,
Elsewhere in the forum you and others have written that Intel Macs can boot from an external drive formatted as APM or GUID. Is GUID preferred? If GUID is used can the external drive be installed internally in an INtel Mac if the internal drive fails?
Also you mentioned naming the partition on the backup the same as the internal drive. Is that generally the best way to do it or is that specific to certain situations?
