Try using Finder to duplicate the "Cache" folder (quit iTunes first). Once done, delete the original and rename the copy back to Cache. Then empty your trash.

Your suggestion for what to do about this seems to have worked as now the SD cloning worked fine when including all files. Thank you for the quick (and accurate) response! I have learned now to be careful in how files are handled when machines running both Leopard and Tiger have access via a local network.
