SuperDuper doesn't find startup disk for scheduled copy

When SuperDuper! opened for a scheduled copy of my startup disk tonight, the "Scheduled Copies" item turned red; and in the "SuperDuper!" window, the "Copy" selection was blank. I had to manually select my startup disk, then click "Copy Now" in the Scheduled Copies window, and the copy proceeded normally. But when the copy was finished and SuperDuper was supposed to quit, I had to Force Quit to get it to stop.

This has happened before. Do I need to delete some files or reinstall the app?

Version 2.7.1. MacOS X 10.8.2.

Thanks.
