thanks. I will partition the Drobo into 2 volumes. One for my normal backup:
Volume 1:
- pictures I am working on
- Music files
- documents
Volume 2:
- Archived pictures exclusively
In addition I am still struggling with a bootable backup. As you know I have this 160 GB FW drive sitting around. As my internal HD has much more data on it then what is available on the external 160 Gb drive I can not just clone my internal drive onto this external drive.
What I am struggling with is I do not know what folders/files to include exactly into this backup so that I have only my OS + Apps + Preferences on it. I assume I have to run it via your scripts.
