Nope, it doesn't appear anywhere, unlike e.g. the iTunes .dmg, which mounts properly and appears in Finder.

I am a new user desperate to try something sane like SD. But when I try to download the free sample, the download just stops at the end, after mounting the disk images, etc. A message comes up asking...
