2.6.1 will not clone FW800 drive
 

I have a brand new (June 2009) MBP and have been backing it up with a My Passport drive with FW 800 almost daily for the last month (using SD v2.5). Previously I was backing up a two year old MBP (also Intel) using v2.5 with no problems.

First backup under 2.6.1 with the same drive using Snow Leopard:

Tried a full backup (erase and backup) and it stopped about 20% of the way through, telling me the backup failed. Copy speed is about 10% of what it was under Leopard and SD v2.5. Tried reformatting the drive altogether but still had same result.

HELP!

Did you use the "Send to Shirt Pocket…" button in the failure log window to send it to them?
