DiskWarrior and SD
 

I just started using SD on my QS G4,running 10.3.5. So far, I'm impressed! My one question: After doing a complete clone to an external FW drive, I ran DiskWarrior because the graph showed 31% of directory items out of place. The DW report showed only one 'red font' item: changing the ROOT creation date in the optimized directory. Why would this occur, and is it a concern?

Otherwise, SD compares very favorably with CCC, which I previously relied on.

Hm. We initialize the drive with regular, plain-old Disk Utility, so perhaps Apple's own utility doesn't set that one item properly. In any case, I wouldn't worry about it too much: it shouldn't have any effect on normal operation.
