Crash while running a Backup

Hi,

a friend of mine in a Mac-Community has a problem. Because he doesn't speak English I try to explain it for him:

A couple of days ago my MacMini 1.1 - Intel Core Duo - 10.4.11 installed - went on strike while running a SuperDuper-Backup.

The Kernelpanic-Log looks is attached.

Do you have any clue what and maybe even ewhy the what happened?

All the best
alf

The file system on the backup drive had a severe failure, which caused the kernel to 'panic' and stop before additional damage was done.

It's possible that you need to thoroughly simplify the USB bus to just the drive to see if that helps. Or, if you're using an image, make sure the host drive is formatted as HFS+ so it can handle large files (> 4GB - FAT32 won't work).
