Silly problem
I have a silly problem, more a nuisance. On Monday to Saturday I am backing up my main drive to two other drives in alternance - works fine. On Sundays I am backing up a secondary work drive to another HD - works fine too.
Everything at night. However, twice now on Thursday mornings I found myself looking at a message from SuperDuper telling me that drive "Archive" cannot be found. This is the drive which is used only on Sundays and can easily be found then. Any ideas? More a nuisance than anything else, the backups work fine. |
Do you have multiple schedules for "Archive", perhaps?
|
No, Archive is called for only on Sunday night - works fine. I just can't understand what SuperDuper wants it for on Wednesday nights, and only twice so far.

I can't see how we could possibly run without being launched by the scheduler... if you don't have more than one entry in the Scheduled Copies window, and the one you do have isn't set to run on Wednesday... I just don't know.

As I said in my first post, there are backups every night, so SD is supposed to be running - but not on "Archive"
|
I understand. I'm just saying you may have accidentally created more than one for Archive.
