Log - how to keep each of past backup logs

When I Show Log from "Window" menu in SuperDuper, I am NOT seeing a log of all previous backups, seems to be only the last backup. And today I see a log from 2 weeks ago, but not last night, yet my Firewire Drive where SuperDuper writes a cloine to each evening seems to have run last night.

Isn't this Log supposed to show a record of each backup, or does it only show the last one done?

thank you.

Terry

We only show the last one done. But, the last ten are available. Cmd-click on the title bar of the log window and choose the "Logs" folder. In there are the other logs; you can double-click to open each.

You say you only show the last one done, but my experience is the same as Terry's... If I use the "Show Log" command from the "Window" menu, it shows one from the past, but not the last copy that took place. For example, the one I see today is from Sept 6th, but I have it scheduled to run daily.

Does the log not get saved if for some reason the copy is not successful?

Each scheduled copy has its own set of logs. Open the Scheduled Copies window and click the schedule you're interested in. Then click "Show Log".

You can get the last 10 runs for that schedule using the same technique as above.

Where are those logs stored?

Thanks.

The full path is shown when you Cmd-click the title bar...
